Overview

Introducing the next generation of compact LED lighting, the Stage Series C2 2.0 LED Pod! Building on the popularity of the original C2 LED Pod, the newly redesigned C2 2.0 packs even more power, light output, and versatility into the same 2-inch footprint. With its compact design, the C2 2.0 is a go-to for tight mounting spots–roof racks, roll bars, bumpers, A-pillars, you name it.

Re-Engineered From the Inside Out. The C2 2.0 may look familiar, but under the hood, everything has changed. A new copper-core circuit board is bonded directly to the LED chips, dramatically improving thermal efficiency and overall performance. The powdercoated aluminum housing has also been redesigned to dissipate more heat than ever before, resulting in higher power and light output.

Focused Performance. Our patented TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics in the C2 2.0 have been re-engineered for up to 120% more intensity and more usable light output compared to the C2 1.0. The TIR optics harness all of the light from the LED and direct it precisely where you need it, cutting glare and boosting efficiency. Each beam pattern has been fine-tuned for real-world conditions to perform even better than before.

The Combo/Driving pattern can be used as low beams and/or high beams in this kit. It has a completely redesigned lens to deliver a better blend of width and distance compared to the previous C2 models. The C2 2.0 Combo/Driving optic uses advanced pillow optics to shine light downrange in a rectangular pattern of 55×20 degrees. The Combo/Driving pattern is great for all-around use.

SAE Driving is our #1 choice for your Can Am Defender HD11 HIGH BEAMS. While this pattern is great for your high beams, it’s also great for general illumination, providing extra width over your typical spot pattern. The new C2 2.0 Driving pattern measures 20×12 degrees, providing the perfect width to fully illuminate the road ahead at high speeds.

SAE Fog/Wide   is our #1 choice for your Can Am Defender HD11 LOW BEAMS.  With its distinctive FineLine optic, this choice provides an exceptionally wide pattern. The SAE Fog/Wide optic shines with a 90×10 degree pattern to fully illuminate the area directly in front of your vehicle with a difinitive “cut off” to save oncoming riders or your buddies leading the trail in front of you. Lights up what you need and not what you don’t.

Flood pattern provides a uniform, even illumination with a broad 70×45 degree spread of light. It can be used for the Can Am Defender HD11 LOW BEAMS if you require an up close coverage on tight trails. Unlike generic “flood” lights that are simply a heavily diffused spotlight, our flood pattern uses advanced pillow optics on the outer lens surface, to provide a true optically designed spread, for even illumination throughout. It is perfect to use as a backup light, for lighting up anything at low speeds, or for trailers, campsites, and work areas.

Spot shines light directly from the unmodified TIR optic in a tight, long-distance beam, resulting in a highly focused 8-degree beam of light. The Spot pattern is perfect for directing light far into the distance. Use this pattern for your Can Am Defender HD11 high beam when total distance is what you need. Coupled with the Combo/Driving light as your low beam and this becomes the ultimate long range lighting set up (best suited for large open riding)

Not just off road. When installed as a pair and aimed in accordance with your state’s regulations, the Driving White pattern meets SAE J581 standard as a Driving/Auxiliary High Beam Light, and the Fog/Wide pattern meets SAE J583 standard as a Foglamp, for legal on-road use. Please check your local laws and regulations for aiming, installation, and applicability.

Backlight Functionality. These C2 2.0 LED Pods include a distinctive backlight feature, available in your choice of red or amber. The backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing a unique and modern look. The red backlight is ideal for those looking to match OEM taillights or boost rear visibility, while the amber backlight is a great option for forward-facing applications to match OEM markers or add extra visibility. While this feature isn’t supported by the factory harness we give you instructions on how to tap into the factory harness if you choose to use this backlight feature.

Swappable Optics and Colors. Just like before, the lenses on the C2 are swappable. But here’s what makes the C2 2.0 even better–they now use the same high-output Cool White LED chips for both white and yellow LED pods. This means changing your optic and color is just a simple lens swap away. No need to worry about color variation when switching from yellow to white!

Snap-On Covers. Protect your investment or take the customization even further with our expanded lineup of snap on lense covers! An all-new amber cover joins our existing clear, yellow, smoked, and black options. No tools required, just snap on and go.

Proven Reliability. Stage Series LED lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing.
